As the Italy Sales Manager, you will drive business growth in a market valued, with a projected annual growth rate of 10% over the next five years. This role primarily focuses on the wine sector, with opportunities to expand into spirits. You will manage a portfolio of over 1,000 clients, ranging from small wineries to key market players.
Your Key Responsibilities
Client Development & Sales Management
- Prospect and acquire new business accounts (50% travel required).
- Manage and grow existing accounts, including forecasting, order management, and new product development (NPD).
- Promote and sell Saverglass’ wine and spirits bottles and decorative solutions.
- Support clients in the design and development of proprietary bottles.
- Negotiate pricing, supply agreements, and payment terms.
Strategic & Operational Impact
- Conduct market analysis to identify new opportunities and develop sales strategies.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including Sales Administration, Supply Chain, Quality, and Marketing.
- Provide monthly reports on activity, market trends, project updates, and forecasts.
Industry Engagement
- Build strong professional relationships across the wine and spirits industry, including suppliers, design agencies, and accessory vendors.
- Represent Saverglass at industry events, trade shows, and client presentations.
